Thomas Creek is a classical guitarist and educator working in the DMV and Baltimore areas. He has performed as a soloist and in ensemble settings throughout portions of the Midwest and the East Coast.

Teaching has and continues to be an integral component to Thomas’ career. He has worked privately with students of varying ages for over a decade. He has also taught privately and in group settings on behalf of institutions like the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO and Westminster College in Fulton, MO. Aside from his work with Peabody Preparatory, Thomas also holds a teaching position at Shenandoah University, in Winchester, VA, where he teaches guitar on behalf of the music therapy department.

Thomas Creek received a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of South Carolina (2014), a Master of Music Performance degree from the University of Missouri (2016), and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance from Shenandoah University (2020). His research focus throughout his graduate degree programs and post-graduation has revolved around the documentation and performance of American classical guitar music written between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
