With music and dance instruction for children and adults, beginner to advanced, private and group instruction, the Preparatory offers a wide range of options for the budding musician to the most serious student.
For Spring 2021, Preparatory instruction will remain primarily online with limited onsite opportunities for specific groups.

There are two campus locations in Towson. The Dulaney Valley Road building is the Preparatory’s oldest branch campus. Children's Chorus meets at the Towson Presbyterian Church location.
The Howard County campus office hours are variable. An answering machine is available to take messages for faculty members who teach at the three campus locations.
