Samuel Springer is a Graduate of Trinity College of Music, London; holds an MM from the Yale School of Music; and a DMA from the Peabody Conservatory. His teachers include Donald Sutherland, Thomas Murray, Gerre Hancock, and Charles Krigbaum. Springer was the recipient of the Lynn Hebden Award at the Peabody Conservatory; the W.F. Langmaid Prize from Trinity College of Music, London; the Harry Jepson Memorial Scholarship from the Yale School of Music; and he was named the Hugh Giles Scholar at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music. He is currently a lecturer at Morgan State University and director of music at Concord-St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Bethesda.
