Malgorzata ‘Gosia’ Baker began learning music when she was five years old. While studying piano in the Wieniawski Music School in Poland, she was also a member of Akord choir, and travelled internationally for festivals and competitions. Her love for music led her to continue her education in Maryland where she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Towson University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance. Baker then earned her Master of Arts degree in Audio Sciences from the Peabody Conservatory. While studying, she spent many years teaching private piano lessons to children and adults.

Baker gained extensive experience in arts management and administration while working with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the Maryland Humanities as well as Arts Education in Maryland Schools Alliance.
