Daniel Trahey holds his BM in Performance and Music Education from the Peabody Conservatory and an MM from Yale University. Trahey has directed educational programming and outreach events for the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. He has taught at Yale University, the Baltimore School for the Arts, and the Baltimore Public School system. As a teaching artist he has presented musical demonstrations to over 40,000 school children. Trahey is the tuba player for the Archipelago Project, a non-profit outreach organization.
