Bradley Permenter received his Master of Music from the Peabody Conservatory and his Bachelor of Music from the University of Memphis, and currently teaches in the Baltimore County Public School system. While studying at Peabody he was the recipient of the Sarah Stuhlman Zierler Prize in accompanying. Permenter completed all three levels of Orff Schulwerk certification at George Mason University as well as the Summer Course at the Orff Institute in Salzburg, Austria, in 2003. He was the 2009 recipient of the Peabody Preparatory’s Excellence in Teaching Award.
The Peabody Children’s Chorus, founded in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1989, brings children together to rehearse and perform art and folk music of multiple cultures, languages, historical periods, and styles.
