Angela Taylor is active in the Baltimore community as a computer musician, recording engineer, and performer. A Pro Tools expert, she owns a mobile Pro Tools rig, as well as doing freelance audio production and post-production (music editing, sound effects, etc.) for TV shows including ABC News, America’s Most Wanted and Top Cops. As a pop-rock singer-songwriter her awards include “Best of Baltimore” (City Paper), “Best Regional Album” (Music Monthly), Winner of the MASC Pop Songwriting Contest, and Finalist in the IMX Discovery Contest and the Lilith Fair Talent Search. Co-produced by Grammy award-winning producer John Jennings, Taylor’s self-engineered album Songs for Strong Girls was recorded entirely on an Apple computer using Pro Tools. Released on Skinny Girl Records, the album received airplay on numerous stations nationwide. Taylor has also appeared on national television to promote her music, most notably performing several songs on Food Nation with Bobby Flay.
