LOCATION:  600 block Washington Place

TIME:  4:04 PM

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT: On today’s date, Peabody Campus Security became aware that a non-affiliate was robbed while in the park in the 600 block of Washington Place on May 5, 2021 at 4:04 PM.  Two suspects approached the victim, grabbed him by the arm, and took the victim’s cell phone and a wallet containing currency and then fled the scene.

SUSPECTS:  Male in his 40’s, with a tattoo of a scorpion under his right eye and wearing gray sweatpants.  The second suspect was a male, 30-40 years old, with a gray/black beard and wearing a black jacket with two white stripes on the sleeves.

CRIME TIPS: If you are a crime victim, try to remember as many details about the suspect as possible.  Try to walk in groups rather than alone.  Stay in well-lit areas.  If you are a crime victim, report the incident immediately.
