INCIDENT TYPE:  Attempted Robbery

LOCATION:  600 block of Washington Place

DATE:  5/18/2024

TIME:  Approximately 12:45 AM

DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT: Baltimore Police informed Peabody Public Safety on 5/20/2024 of an attempted robbery that occurred May 18th at approximately 12:45 AM.  The victim, affiliation unknown,  was sitting in the 600 block of Washington Place when they were threatened and told to empty their pockets.  The victim attempted to comply but had no money. Suspect then struck the victim in the back of the head with an object and fled.  Victim was not seriously injured.  No suspect description at this time.

CRIME TIPS: If you are a crime victim, try to remember as many details about the suspect as possible.  Try to walk in groups rather than alone.  Stay in well-lit areas.  If you are a crime victim, report the incident immediately.
