All students applying for entry into the fall 2021 semester must record all pieces in their entirety according to the repertoire requirements below. For further information on audition procedures for the coming year, please click here.

Required Repertoire

The audition, in its entirety, should not exceed 20 minutes, and should include the following (piano accompaniment recommended, but not required):

1. Vivaldi Piccolo Concerto in C Major RV443, 1st and 2nd movements
2. A complete work for solo piccolo
3. Orchestral piccolo solo excerpts from the following:
   1. Rossini, Semiramide
   2. Shostakovich, Symphony 6
   3. Stravinsky, Firebird
4. Mozart Flute Concerto, 1st movement exposition
