Degree & Diploma Programs

The Peabody Conservatory awards five degrees: the Bachelor of Music (BM), the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), the Master of Music (MM), the Master of Arts (MA) in Audio Sciences, and the Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Performance. The three diploma programs are the Performer’s Certificate (PC), the Graduate Performance Diploma (GPD), and the Artist’s Diploma (AD).

Extension Study

Individuals who wish to enroll in private lessons or courses on a non-degree basis may register for such study through the Peabody Extension Division, pending faculty availability and demonstration of appropriate qualifications.

Revisions to Peabody Grading Policies in Response to COVID- 19

As we all continue to adjust to and manage around the impact of COVID-19, each division of the University has made adjustments to existing grading policies to meet the unusual circumstances presented this semester, based on what is appropriate for that school.
