Audition checklist and requirements

  1. Applicant must be a male identifying ballet dancer at least 13 years old and no more than 21 years of age as of the 4/6/2025 audition date.
  2. Applicants must live or study in the eligible region to include; Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.   
  3. Completed Application Form below to include Statement of Purpose.
  4. Photo of first arabesque. This will be taken the day of auditions. 
  5. Current teacher to fill out recommendation form.

Completed Application Form and Teacher Recommendation Form must be received no later than Monday, March 31, 2025. If it is past this date, please email for information.  For any questions, please contact [email protected].
           

Applicants may only audition twice.

Statement of Purpose

Please provide a statement of purpose for the scholarship committee. Must be a minimum of two paragraphs long (400-500 words). It should answer these questions: Why are you auditioning and what are your plans for the awarded amount? If applicable, include the amount needed for your specific dance activity.
Eligibility Requirement(Required)
Each applicant must meet the residency requirement to be eligible to complete in the audition. Applicants must meet a residency requirement; the Eligible Region includes Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Please select the one that most applies.
