Preparatory Summer Dance

The Peabody Preparatory's exceptional Summer Dance programs offer a full range of instruction taught by Preparatory Dance's outstanding faculty and notable guest artists. They are designed to accommodate all students ages 3 to adult who wish to continue their dance training with concentrated study during the summer months - from complete beginners to professional-level aspirants.

Free for all Baltimore City Public School Students
AileyCamp Baltimore represents a vital continuation of Alvin Ailey’s vision, using the power of dance to enrich and positively alter the lives of children. This camp is an innovative summer program for middle school students combines dance, creative writing, personal development, and communications, to help students develop a respect for themselves and others that meaningfully impacts their lives.

Prep Up with Peabody

Morning technique classes of upper-level ballet and contemporary dance classes who have at least one year of experience on pointe (if appropriate). This program is available to students who have completed Levels 7 and higher (age 13+).

  • Beginning students ages 4, 5, and 7-adult do not need to take a placement class.Β
