If you have never accessed SIS

You will first need to authenticate your SIS account.

  1. Go to https://sis.jhu.edu/newuser/
  2. Enter your SIS ID and click Continue
  3. Enter your Date of Birth and Zipcode (or Lastname for international applicants) and click Sign In
  4. Create your password

Once you’ve authenticated your SIS account

Access SIS as follows:

  1. Go to https://sis.jhu.edu/sswf/
  2. Click SIGN IN and enter your SIS ID at the JHED ID prompt
  3. Enter the password you created when you authenticated your account at the Password prompt.

If you have forgotten your SIS password

Take the following steps to reset it:

  1. Go to https://sis.jhu.edu/sswf/
  2. Click Forgot your username or password?
  3. Under Prospective Students and Authorized Users, select ‘I forgot my password’ and click Next
  4. At the User ID (Login Name) prompt, enter your SIS ID
  • A temporary password will be sent to you by email
  • Use this temporary password to login at https://sis.jhu.edu/sswf/ (enter your SIS ID at the JHED ID prompt)
  • Change your password after you log in

If you enroll at Peabody

Your SIS ID will be replaced with a Johns Hopkins Enterprise Directory (JHED) ID.  You will be contacted by email when this change is made.
