February 15-23, 2026

  • All live admissions-related events are held during Audition Week in February.
  • Auditions will be scheduled on the dates below. Please note that changes to the schedule may be made as necessary. Changes will be indicated with an asterisk (*).
  • Artist Diploma finals will be held on Friday, February 20th for all areas and are required to be in-person. Applicants who audition earlier in the week and advance to the finals will be expected to return to Peabody on Friday.
  • Applicants for Music Education (BM)Recording Arts & Sciences (BM double major), and Performance Pedagogy (MM) should plan to interview on the date designated for their principal instrument/major.
  • Auditions may be performed with or without accompaniment. Peabody provides an accompanist only for voice and Artist Diploma finals, held on campus.
    • Some audition rooms at Peabody do not have pianos, so please contact us before bringing an accompanist with you.
  • Auditions are held regardless of the weather. Please plan to arrive a day before your audition, if possible. If a weather emergency prevents you from getting here safely, please call the admissions office ASAP and we will work with you to ensure that your audition is heard. In some cases, we may ask you to upload a recording.
  • If you are experiencing extenuating circumstances that you feel require a change in your selected audition modality, OR if you need to reschedule your audition/interview, please submit a request for accommodation. We will review and respond to each request on a case-by-case basis. Please allow 2-3 days processing time.

Please hold all dates open for your major until you receive your official audition/interview schedule and check back here for the latest information. Note that certain programs, like the AD, may require you to be on campus for more than one day. Refer to your degree’s application instructions for more information. Dates in bold indicate a recent update.
