Peabody Conservatory is pleased to bring back our domestic regional auditions! Peabody Admissions staff will be traveling to the locations listed below to host and record auditions for eligible major areas. Please note the following:

  • Faculty do not attend regional auditions. Peabody Admissions staff will proctor and record the auditions and upload them to your application for faculty review.
  • There is no pre-screening requirement for those who are eligible for and select a regional audition, due to the shortened timeline between the application deadline and auditions.

We understand that traveling for auditions can be difficult for a variety of reasons. If you find yourself in this situation, please submit a request for accommodation. Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis starting after the application deadline.

We cannot accommodate regional auditions/interviews in the following degrees and areas:

  • Doctorate of Musical Arts (DMA)
  • Artist Diploma (AD)
  • Dance
  • Flute
  • Percussion
  • Piano
  • Organ
  • Jazz
  • Conducting (all concentrations)
  • Recording Arts & Sciences
  • Acoustics
  • Composition
  • Computer Music
  • Music Education
  • Music for New Media: Film and Game Scoring
  • Music Theory Pedagogy
  • Musicology
  • Performance Pedagogy

If you are a voice applicant, you must provide your own accompanist. Accompanists in other majors are optional but not necessary.
