Ignite your child’s love for music with Peabody Youth Guitar Week, a five-day summer immersion into the magical world of classical guitar, designed for budding Suzuki and classical guitarists aged 6-12.

Led by renowned Peabody Preparatory faculty and esteemed guest artists, this immersive program welcomes participants into a world of musical exploration, collaboration, and joyful discovery. In a supportive, nurturing environment, your child will refine essential skills and techniques, including music theory and reading notation, while fostering lasting friendships and ensemble skills through collaborative learning experiences. The invaluable experience of performing enhances their stage presence, laying a solid foundation for future musical endeavors.

Pre-requisite: Prior classical or Suzuki guitar instruction and the ability to comfortably read first position notes and/or familiarity with Suzuki guitar repertoire are highly recommended to get the most out of this program.
