The Johns Hopkins Rehabilitation Network Clinic for Performing Artists at the Peabody Institute offers specialized services for performing artists experiencing pain or injury including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and hand therapy.
All full-time, Peabody students can receive their primary health services from the Johns Hopkins University Student Health & Well-Being (SHWB) Primary Care. SHWB Primary Care provides high quality, confidential healthcare to enrolled students of the Homewood and Peabody campus communities with a staff of board certified physicians, nationally certified nurse practitioners, and others licensed professionals.
Peabody students are eligible to seek services with Mental Health Services at the Homewood Counseling Center, which offers a variety of in-person and online services. The Mental Health Services staff strive to provide high quality mental health care and well-being services that recognize the values, experiences and needs of our diverse student and musician community.
The Johns Hopkins University Behavioral Health Crisis Support Team (BHCST) pairs experienced, compassionate crisis clinicians with specially trained public safety officers to support individuals in crisis on and around the Homewood and Peabody campuses.
The Johns Hopkins University requires all full-time students to carry comprehensive health insurance and offers a student health insurance plan administered by Consolidated Health Plans as the standard for adequate health insurance coverage.
Health Promotion and Well-Being cultivates and supports holistic well-being for individuals, relationships, groups, and the JHU community-at-large across all schools and divisions.
Health, wellness, fitness, and community — are the guiding principles of the programs offered through the Ralph S. O’Connor Recreation Center.
