Concerts for Every Body occur each Spring semester and feature a Peabody student or alumni ensemble. Performers receive mentorship in approximately six working sessions in the Fall semester with a music educator/music therapist to develop an appropriate and engaging program. Concerts for Every Body seeks to amplify performers, music, and arts-based experiences that affirm the intersectional experience of being human. Concerts for Every Body are for all ages, all bodies, and all neurologies. Concerts for Every Body are for everybody. The program offers a stipend to each performer and concludes with a debrief session.
Duos, Trios, and Quartets may apply. As this project is not a performance opportunity, but rather an engagement project, we especially invite non-performance majors such as recording arts, music for new media, composers, conductors, and music education students to apply.
Applications are currently paused.
