featuring Duo Sila

Experience classical music with Duo Sila, presented in a unique and liberating way that encourages interaction through movement, visuals, emotion, and reflection. Come as you are to this virtual concert experience - it is for every body!

If you’d like to dive in to this concert experience with us, feel free to have the following handy:

  • a container or flat surface to be used as a percussion instrument
  • a journal, or paper and pencil, colored pencils, markers, or anything else you might like to use for drawing or writing!
  • space to move around

You are not required to keep your camera on during the performance, and how you choose to participate is entirely up to you! Duo Sila will be presenting you with various mediums of exploring the music they perform in this concert.

This concert is suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds. Closed captioning will be provided when performers are talking.

About Duo Sila

featuring Amanda Dame, flute and Christina Manceor, percussion

Duo Sila is a flute and percussion ensemble pushing the boundaries of old and new in classical music. They continually work to reach new audiences through unique arrangements and thoughtful interpretations of the innovative repertoire that bridges the gap between traditional and contemporary. Recently, Duo Sila won the Charleston International Music Competition, and released their inaugural album, Traditions Reimagined.
