The Global Summit on Occupational Health in Music will unite global experts, educators, musicians, and health care providers to advocate for safer environments in higher education music programs and for occupational health to be recognized as an essential area of knowledge and competency for all musicians.

Presentations will follow four core themes—“The Big Picture,” “Position Papers,” “Clinicians,” and “Call for Action”—with experts emphasizing the importance of specialized training to equip healthcare professionals to meet musicians’ unique needs. The summit will conclude with an invitation for participants to sign a declaration aimed at catalyzing change at tertiary music schools.
