Join us for the return of our large scale participatory interactive works where YOU, the audience, will join us in an exploration of multiple perspectives on community, connection, and contact with one another.

“You Can Lose Your Balance”, the newest work from the Brooklyn Motion Capture Dance Ensemble invites the audience to hold space for each other, our individualist tendencies, our relationships with one another, and an awareness for the totality of our interconnectedness. Through movement and sound, technology mirroring human action, and one very special extendable ladder, we will hold an ever shifting mirror to the forces that shape our communities.

Throughout the course of this work, we will create music and movement together with capacitive touch sensors, holding hands, walking, singing, and moving through the space.  

Please come prepared to participate and immerse yourself! We will have seating available for those who need them, but our hope is for the majority of the group to join us in movement.
