We would like to create a “Cello Family” at Peabody where students can be exposed to different ideas and can exchange thoughts about music and cello with their department fellows and faculty. It shows the students more than anything else that a collective work and respect between well established artists can lead to a better creative environment and will put in their minds a better picture on how one day they might want to collaborate with their own colleagues.
