The Peabody Preparatory of the Johns Hopkins University, in partnership with the YMCA of Frederick County, offers private lessons in violin, viola, cello, guitar, voice, flute, and piano at the Y Arts Center for students of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Lessons in other instruments will be made available soon.

The Y Arts Center is a 20,000 square-foot hub for creativity in the heart of downtown Frederick. Significant renovations to the lower level have added several private studio spaces, an office/work space, and a family waiting area to enhance music instruction in the building.
