The annual Spring Showcase is an opportunity for the most advanced preparatory dance students to present concert length works in ballet and contemporary dance. Cast members are typically in Levels 8-10 of the Pre-Professional Program and are enrolled in repertory classes or selected to participate by an audition process. Students work with renowned choreographers in an intensive rehearsal process, called a residency, to produce high quality works on the cutting edge of the dance industry.  

The 2026 Spring Dance showcase will be held in at UMBC on Saturday, January 31, at 7:00pm and Sunday, February 1, at 3:00pm. A reception will be held following the Sunday show for all the performers.
