Eligibility

• Must be 18 years old or younger (or have not yet graduated from high school).
• Must be enrolled in private lessons at the Preparatory.
• Entrants must provide their own accompanist (if necessary) for both the competition and the performance.

Repertoire Requirements

• Any solo repertoire at a strong advanced level (advanced two for pianists).
• Performances are not to exceed 12 minutes.
• Accompaniment is mandatory if the piece requires it.
• Repertoire can be added or substituted to competition entries until the submission deadline. Once the submission deadline has passed, pieces can only be removed from entries (no other changes permitted).

Please plan ahead! Because competitions can fill quickly, submit forms early to ensure there will be room for your student. Entry is on a first come first served basis. Please fill out the forms completely, giving information in the way it is requested so that performance materials can be prepared on time. Only completed forms received by the deadline can participate.

The judges have complete discretion over the number of winners selected and the number within each instrumental discipline.
