Audition checklist and requirements

1. Applicant must be a male ballet dancer at least 13 years old and no more than 21 years of age as of the 4/2/2023 audition date.
2. Applicants must meet a residency requirement; the Eligible Region includes Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and the District of Columbia (including the surrounding Virginia area). Any of the following three cases may be acceptable:
            a. Applicant’s family home and dance school or company are both in the Eligible Region.
            b. Applicant’s family home is not in the Eligible Region, but he presently is training, apprenticing or performing and residing in the Eligible Region.
            c. Applicant’s family home is in the Eligible Region, but he is not presently in the Eligible Region.
3. Completed Application Form below to include Statement of Purpose.
4. Proof of age (copy of birth certificate, driver’s license, state-issued ID, passport, etc.) to be brought during registration check-in.
5. Proof of residency in the Eligible Region as listed above; an applicant who does not have a driver’s license or ID issued in the Eligible Region may submit a copy of a housing lease agreement, a letter from his dance training school, or similar document to be brought during registration check-in.
6. Photo will be taken in first arabesque at 12:30 pm
7. Current teacher to fill out recommendation form.
