Cellist Tzu-Jou Yeh (Zoi) is a native of Taiwan. Her extensive performance and education experience encompass all areas of solo, chamber and orchestral music. Yeh is currently completing her Doctorate in Musical Arts for Cello at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University under the tutelage of Amit Peled. She holds a Master’s in Cello Performance from the Peabody as well. Yeh received her Bachelor’s degree in both Cello Performance and Music Education from National Kaohsiung Normal University, where she studied under Chu-Chuan Liu. 

As an educator, Yeh is currently a Faculty Associate for the minor lesson program at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. She previously served as an InterPlay Resident Artist at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, working with undergraduate music majors and coaching chamber music

Her career as a performer has taken her across the Northeast and Midwest regions of the United States, Central America, and through East Asia where she’s performed at venues such as Taiwan’s National Concert Hall and Singapore’s Esplanade.
