Patrick Raynard is a bassist and educator from Illinois who has received a Master’s of Music from The Peabody Conservatory of The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music. He joined the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra in 2018 and frequently plays with the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra. Being a proponent for contemporary music he has commissioned multiple works by living composers. He has attended summer festivals at Orford Music, Domaine Forget, Amherst Early Music Festival, Berlin Opera Academy, and Sewanee Music Festival. He has performed in masterclasses for François Rabbath, Paul Ellison, Matthew McDonald, Joel Quarrington, Alex Hanna, David Allen Moore, Nick Walker, Ali Yazdanfar, and Étiene LaFrance.
