A well-rounded collegiate experience would not be complete without a healthy dose of co-curricular engagement. The area of Student Engagement provides opportunities for students to build communities and engage meaningfully with staff and peers in a wide variety of ways.
Peabody’s Backstage program encourages new students to test out their wings during their first year at Peabody by participating in programs designed to assist with the transition to college life. Backstage is designed to facilitate a smooth and successful transition for all first year undergraduate, transfer, and graduate students.
Students have opportunities to strengthen their leadership abilities through engagement with the Office of Student Engagement within Peabody Student Affairs. Whether it’s by participating in a program sponsored by one of the student organizations on campus, attending a leadership workshop, joining a student organization, or by representing their fellow students on the Peabody Student Organization Council or Peabody General Assembly, professional and student staff members in Student Engagement are looking forward to working with students to create community at Peabody.
