Peabody students collaborate with Walters Staff members to develop interactive performances that reference the museum’s collection through music. Performances take place in the Walters Art Museum Sculpture Court. Audience for these concerts includes Mount Vernon residents, seniors, families with small children, school tour groups, and regular museum visitors. Visitors typically discover these concerts upon their visit to the museum. It is not uncommon for visitors to listen to only part of the performance and then continue with their visit. Performers are encouraged to develop programs that invite audience members to explore the galleries rather than remain seated.
*There is no piano at the Walters, but a keyboard will be available for performances
