Description

Peabody students serve as ambassadors for the city of Baltimore, welcoming in and seeing off travelers as they perform in the hall of Baltimore’s historic Penn Station during the height of rush hour on select Friday afternoons. Ensembles perform a complete 25-minute set, 3 times between 4:00-6:00pm. A stipend of $200.00 per performer will be awarded.

Eligibility and Requirements

  • Ensembles with members in their third and fourth year of undergraduate study and all graduate students may apply. Jazz ensembles are particularly encouraged to apply.
  • Ensemble members will serve as representatives of the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and must be prepared to speak with audience members and answer any questions they may have.
