Peabody Soloists, Duos or Trios are invited to submit program proposals for the Peabody at the Library Series SP21. Either performing in real time or thoughtfully presenting pre-recorded content, Peabody students will create an all-ages, interactive and engaging musical program and deliver 45-minute virtual performances for the Pratt Library Light Street Branch. Selected performers will receive a stipend of $125 per performance.

Two performances are scheduled for SP21. They are:

  • Tuesday, March 16 from 2:00-3:00 pm Our partners at the Pratt Library have requested Celtic or Celtic inspired works to be included on this program. If you are applying to perform for this date, please clearly indicate the relationship in your program proposal.
  • Tuesday, April 27 from 2:00-3:00 pm All program proposals are welcome.

Eligibility and Requirements

Soloists, Duos and Trios who are in their third and fourth year of undergraduate study and all graduate students may apply for one or more of the performance opportunities.

Application Instructions and Timeline

Peabody at the Library SP21 application deadline is February 22, 2021. Applications can be found here and will include the following:

  • Proposed concert program (45 minutes) with title and pieces
  • Please indicate 2 places within the program that could involve audience participation (i.e., movement, clapping, listening for a particular theme or sound, conversation about instruments in the ensemble, etc.)
