Active Listening Series

Doctoral candidate and recipient of the Presser Award Lior Willinger will present ten world premieres of works that deal with social justice. A number of Peabody alumni and faculty have composed the pieces that will be premiered, including faculty artists David Smooke, Judah Adashi (MM '02, DMA '11, Composition), and Wendel Patrick and alumni Ledah Finck (BM '16, Violin; MM '18, Violin, Composition),  Frances Pollock (MM '15, Voice), and Zhangyi Chen (MM '11, DMA '15, Composition; MM '15, Music Theory Pedagogy).
