Peabody will present a series of broadcasts featuring faculty and guests performing from offsite locations throughout the fall semester. Working with our video editing and recording arts department, artists will be provided with support and assistance throughout the recording process to ensure a high-quality product is presented.
Performances should be no more than 60 minutes in length and could be a traditional performance, or a combination of conversation and performance.
All dates listed below are tentative and subject to change.

All artists will be assigned a recording tech from the recording arts departments. The tech will work directly with the artists to ensure good mic placement, camera placement, etc.
All final recordings will be due two weeks in advance of the broadcast date. Peabody video engineers and recording arts will edit and mix the final product, optimizing video and audio.
Due to the current status of the Hopkins campus closures, faculty will not have access to performance spaces for their recordings.
Final performances will be broadcast to the public via the Peabody Institute website. Broadcast may run several times over the course of the day to accommodate different time zone viewings.
Following the initial broadcast, the video will be available to the public on youtube.
The following information should be included in all proposals.
All artists must agree to maintain JHU and Peabody Institute guidelines for COVID-19 distancing, masking and hygiene during the rehearsal and performance process. Detailed information about distances for various instruments, rehearsal lengths, and safety measures can be found here.
