The Peabody Conservatory has maintained an afternoon concert series since the 1874-1875 school year.  When pianist Madame Falk-Auerbach first introduced the afternoon concert series, then on Wednesdays, she imagined an opportunity for innovative programming performed by students. The Noon:30 concerts will resume when we return to campus.  However, unlike previous years, the concert series will not be a class.

FIRST AND SECOND-YEAR UNDERGRADUATES will see that  Friday Noon:30 (PY.360.501-502) and the Alternate Project (PY.360.503-504) will be removed from degree requirements. Those two credits will be waived.  Students who have already completed one or more semesters, those credits will be reclassified as electives.
The faculty and leadership will consider the role of the concert series in program requirements for near year and beyond.
