Required Application Information

Returning students who meet the deadlines listed below will receive a financial aid renewal notice in June.

  • BY March 15: For undergraduate or graduate students who wish to be considered for federal need-based aid: renew your FAFSA online at studentaid.gov. The Peabody school code is E00233. (Maryland residents must complete the FAFSA no later than March 1st for state aid consideration.) Use most recent pay stubs and/or W-2 forms to estimate income on the FAFSA if federal tax returns have not yet been filed.
  • BY March 15: For domestic undergraduates who wish to be considered for need-based aid: renew (or submit if you have not done so previously) the CSS Profile application.

  • Review your Student Aid Report (SAR), which provides a summary of the information submitted on the FAFSA. Give special attention to any issues that require additional documentation, such as citizenship.
  • BY APRIL 15: If you are selected for Federal Verification, you must submit all required documents and federal tax data requested by the Financial Aid Office.

Students who complete their aid application (all requested documents received and processed) will have their awards disbursed no sooner than ten days before the first day of classes each semester. All aid on the award notice reflects annual amounts, which are disbursed to student accounts in two equal parts by semester unless otherwise indicated.

Special Note: Students beginning a Graduate Performance Diploma (GPD) who have completed a previous degree at Peabody are eligible for only one year of scholarship in the GPD.
