Yoon-Mee Chong received her BM and MM from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music under the Starling Scholarship. Chong was a student of Joseph Gingold, James Buswell, Mimi Zweig, and Yuval Yaron. She has performed with the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra, the Bach Ensemble, and the L.A. Korean Symphony Orchestra. Chong has performed throughout America with her brother and sister in the Rhee Trio. While abroad she taught at the Mandeville School of Music. Chong performs in a newly formed string quartet and teaches in the summer at the String International Music Festival in Philadelphia.
