Peabody is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with the Enoch Pratt Library. Starting in 2017-18, Peabody students will have the opportunity to work together with Baltimore City Library Branches in preparing and presenting a series of fun, family-friendly concerts for the community. This experience will allow students to develop as citizen artists through guided collaboration and the culminating performances will access diverse audiences throughout the city of Baltimore.
Students who are especially interested in community engagement and performance are encouraged to apply. A stipend will be awarded to two selected groups for developing relevant performance programs in collaboration with Library staff and Peabody’s Manager of Community Partnerships.
Soloists, Duos and Trios who are in their third and fourth year of undergraduate study and all graduate students may apply. Ensembles with appropriate pre-rehearsed repertoire are preferred. Jazz ensembles are particularly encouraged to apply.
Ensembles/soloists will perform four, 45-minute programs each in various library branches across Baltimore City. Ensemble/soloists must be available for performances among the following dates and times:

11/6, 6:30 pm
12/9, 3:00 pm
2/17, 2:00 pm
3/28, 6:30 pm
4/17, 6:30 pm

- Names and instrumentation of all musicians
