The acclaimed bass-baritone and opera star Eric Owens will take on a new role in 2016-17 – that of distinguished visiting artist at the Peabody Conservatory. Mr. Owens will coach voice students and lead master classes over multiple visits.

The legendary pianist and Peabody Conservatory Andrew W. Mellon Chair in Piano Leon Fleisher will guest conduct the Peabody Symphony Orchestra in its final concert of the 2015-16 season on April 30.

Violinist Midori has been made a distinguished visiting artist at Peabody for the 2016-17 season. Recognized as one of the legendary violinists of our times, Midori will visit campus to conduct master classes at both the Conservatory and the Preparatory.

On Monday, March 28, the co-founders of (Le) Poisson Rouge will join Dean Fred Bronstein, part of the Dean’s Symposium Series. The following week, the president of Kennedy Center will also speak on Wednesday, April 6.
