|11/23/2015 - WBJC, Peabody Conservatory Join Forces to Broadcast “Peabody Today”
The Peabody Conservatory joins with WBJC 91.5 FM, Maryland’s Classical Music Station, to create a new broadcast series of faculty and student performances recorded live during the 2015-16 concert season. “Peabody Today” will launch Saturday, Nov. 28.
|11/05/2015 - New Contemporary Music Ensemble Debuts at Peabody
The Peabody Conservatory’s newest new music ensemble, Now Hear This, will perform a concert built around the music of composer Donnacha Dennehy, who will visit Peabody for the event. The program also includes works by Gerard Grisey and Julia Wolfe.

The co-founders of (Le) Poisson Rouge, David Handler and Justin Kantor, will join Fred Bronstein, dean of the Peabody Institute, on November 18 for a conversation about innovations in presenting and performing classical music.
|10/29/2015 - Peabody Opera Theatre at The Lyric Sets Street Scene in Baltimore
The American opera Street Scene comes to Baltimore Nov. 13 and 15, with two performances by the Peabody Opera Theatre at the Lyric. This production will feel more like home to local audiences with a stage designed to evoke the Baltimore of the 1940s.

Peabody presents the internationally renowned touring trio Tre Voci in recital on November 6. Tre Voci has performed a wide-ranging repertoire that includes the unique instrumentation of viola, flute, and harp.

Peabody welcomes Yellow Barn Music Haul – the traveling stage from Yellow Barn in Putney, Vermont, that transforms any street corner, lot, or playground into a music hall – to Baltimore for three community-centered performances on Oct. 18 and 19.
|09/22/2015 - Open Call for Community Roles in Peabody Opera Theatre’s Street Scene
Peabody Opera Theatre invites members of the Baltimore community to audition for speaking roles in its November production of Kurt Weill’s Street Scene. No stage or singing experience is necessary but a strong speaking voice will be preferred.
|09/16/2015 - “Searing” New Opera Receives Its Baltimore Premiere at Peabody
The second production of Peabody faculty composer Michael Hersch’s monodrama On the Threshold of Winter will take place on Saturday, October 3, at Peabody. His first operatic work depicts a single character struggling with her final weeks of cancer.
