Peabody Conservatory is pleased to continue our collaboration with the School of International Art (SIA) in China. Representatives of Peabody will record auditions and interviews. Members of the faculty do not attend Asia auditions. Asia auditions are available for Regular Decision applicants only. The video recordings and any written comments are presented to the appropriate faculty during the Regular Decision auditions.
We understand that in some countries continued restrictions/policies around travel may make it impossible for you to travel to Peabody to audition. In these circumstances Peabody will continue to provide accommodations for students to submit a video audition and/or interview virtually. If you find yourself in this situation, please submit a request for accommodation. Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Please note that the recording of the Asia auditions will serve as a pre-screening round for Computer Music and Music for New Media Film and Game Scoring applicants. Applicants will be notified of pre-screening advancement by the end of January, and those who advance will be scheduled for a remote interview to take place during our Audition Week in February.
We cannot accommodate Asia auditions/interviews in the following degrees and areas:
